Imogen Varnell

Imogen runs a one-lawyer family practice on Frazier Avenue and takes three kinds of case: divorce, custody and adoption.

She spent her first years in practice at a larger Chattanooga firm, where family cases were the work no one wanted. She wanted them. She opened her own office to handle fewer cases, answer her own phone and put a price on every piece of work before it starts.

She writes the guides on this site because the same questions come up in every first meeting, and parents deserve the answers before they pay for an hour.

She lives in Highland Park with her husband and two sons, and spends most Saturdays at a soccer field.
